
IANAGH Marks Case Management Week 2025 with Successful Celebration
The Indian American Nurses Association of Greater Houston (IANAGH) successfully hosted its Case Management Week Celebration 2025 on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in recognition of National Case Management Week under the theme “Guiding Journeys.”
The event brought together nursing professionals, healthcare leaders, and community representatives for a morning of learning, recognition, and connection.
The program began with registration and breakfast, followed by an inauguration ceremony that included lamp lighting, a proclamation, and opening remarks highlighting the essential role of case managers in today’s healthcare system.
Attendees benefited from insightful presentations by distinguished leaders from across the healthcare sector.
Speaker Highlights
Mr. Ken Mathew, Mayor of the City of Stafford, served as Guest of Honor and acknowledged the critical contributions of case managers to community health and patient advocacy.
Ms. Ronda Carter, Vice President – Care Management, Harris Health System, delivered the Keynote Address, sharing leadership perspectives on advancing care management in complex healthcare environments.
Dr. Tammy Kershaw, Case Manager, VA Medical Center Houston, offered motivational insights drawn from frontline experience in patient-centered care.
Ms. Harpreet Sharma, Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, HCA Clearlake, spoke on leadership, collaboration, and the evolving role of nursing professionals.
Mr. Antoine Fleming, Director – Behavioral Health, Community Health Choice, highlighted behavioral health integration and coordinated care strategies.
Ms. Nimma James-Ayatunji, Director – Case Management, Memorial Hermann Southwest, shared system-level insights on quality outcomes and multidisciplinary teamwork.
Ms. Beena Elizabeth Jacob, Director – Case Management, Houston Methodist Sugar Land, addressed excellence in care coordination and professional growth.
An approved CEU presentation provided valuable continuing education, supporting professional development and clinical excellence.
