Preamble
Indian American Nurses Association of Greater Houston (IANAGH) is a not-for-profit organization under the rules and regulations of non- profit organizations in the State of Texas.
Purpose
The purpose of this organization is to serve as a professional body and resource for all registered professional nurses and nursing students of Indian origin and heritage in the Greater Houston area of the State of Texas, regardless of actual or perceived social status, practice, age, sex, color, race, religion, sexual orientation, or financial status.

▸ Members of IANAGH are invited to participate in several different volunteer capacities, as members of committees and task forces. Participation on a task force or committee is a great way to contribute to IANAGH as well as to get to know other important leaders within the organization.
▸ IANAGH also invites its members to participate in various philanthropic activities thereby providing opportunities to give back to community.
Membership Requirements
Annual & Life Membership
▸ Registered professional nurse of Indian origin or heritage.
▸ Must have current RN license in the State of Texas .
▸ Must be of good professional standing (not barred or suspended license).
▸ Opportunities to network and attend conferences from NAINA and IANAGH
▸ Member must agree with the mission and comply with the rules and bylaws set by
Indian American Nurses Association of Greater Houston (IANAGH).
